PreFab Comp wheels feature Aero double wall rims, Concept sealed hubs, and DT Swiss Stainless Steel Spokes and DT colored Alloy Nipples. We use 20H radial lacing on the front and 24H in the rear. The rim brake surface is CNC machined for improved braking performance and features a safety wear line. These fast rolling wheels deliver fantastic performance at an unbelievable price point.
Robots cannot match the quality and durability of the hand built wheels we assemble in house. The wheels are trued in 2 phases. After the first trueing, we let it stretch overnight then retrue it again. We then drop thread locking fluid on each nipple. We file the inside of the rim to deburr the rim spoke holes avoiding flats. We then use rimstrips to correctly match the width of the rim.
