The design consists of a new polycarbonate blend and a never before used spoke and cavity structure that reduces the weight by 25% while providing greater protection. Like the original P30, the new design employs a more optimal approach to energy distribution when absorbing impacts by flexing and returning to form. Gamut bashrings are designed to channel energy away from more critical drive-train components at minimal weight.

Due to its light weight design, the P20 can also be used for DJ, 4X & Dual Slalom.
