The Hope T-Rex Ratio Expander Sprocket 40T enables you to upgrade your current 10spd cassette setup from 11-36T to an 11-40T range, this massive range enables you to tackle harder terrain easier and more confidently.
 
Installing the Hope T-Rex Ratio Expander is incredibly simple, all that is required is to place it behind your existing cassette and replace one of the smaller sprockets, typically the 17t size as it is seen as the least important cog, however you can adjust to whatever your riding preference may be.
 
With a Shimano and Sram specific design the MTB Cassette ring provides much better results than what would be possible if a universal size would have been developed, amongst these advantages includes a perfect match of tooth profiles and shifting points, which typically vary between cassette designs, and a heavy reduction in flexing by ensuring the best possible contact is made between the supporting tabs, this leads to a severe boost in shifting performance.
  • Precise matching of the tooth profiles and shifting points specific to each cassette
  • Perfect mating of supporting tabs reducing flex and aiding shift performance
  • Lower B-tension adjustment is needed ensuring good shifting throughout the cassette range compared to fitting a 42t
  • Compatible with Shimano XT and XTR 11-36 10spd cassettes. Sram PG1030, PG1050 and PG1070 11-36 cassettes
